Had my first shoulder and neck massage in a long time. The pressure was strong because it was necessary for my tension. You could feel the relaxation setting in and I felt great afterwards. My full respect to the therapist and the rest of the team. I'll be happy to come back.

We came here right after our long flight from Germany for a foot massage and we felt ver relaxed afterwards. The therapists know what they are doing. We've tried other massage parlor during our 6 days stay in Chiang Mai and we can say that this place is the best. That's why we came back for another session on our last day. Thank you very much for the relaxing experience. We will definitely come back for a massage if we ever visit Chiang Mai again in the future. If you want good quality massage, you should definitely check this place out.

I took 1.5hr full body massage at 500 baht. The massager is really skilled and I felt asleep a while. I feel very relaxed. The place is very clean and I love the nice smell. The staff is warmly welcome. End of the session, they provide a warm tea with a snack. I will definitely will come back again.

My body merely a flesh dough for Beauty’s hands to knead, she targeted tension and tightness with precision and softness. Experienced a string of mid, painful massages before this, and it’s rare to be paired with somebody who has the talent for creating the chills of relief in another body. Only wish I had found this sooner as I came here my last day in chiang mai. Thank you, Beauty!

I have been visiting Kunlarat Massage regularly for the past three weeks, and I absolutely love it!

The massage is always fantastic and truly helps me relax and feel refreshed.

The prices are very good, making it great value for money.

Everyone there is incredibly kind and welcoming, which really makes you feel at home.

My regular masseuse B, is exceptional! She is kind, professional, very skilled, and attentive to my needs every time.

I highly recommend Kunlarat Massage and will definitely continue coming here. A truly wonderful experience!

I don’t usually write reviews but it is beyond needed in this case. I found Kunlarat because after several lovely Thai massages elsewhere my TMJ was starting to become unbearable. I have chronic jaw pain and with the loosening of the surrounding muscles, my face, jaw, neck and shoulders were becoming so tight I knew I needed help right away. So, late at night I looked up where I could get a facial massage and headed to Kunlarat hoping to catch them before they closed. While I got there in time, I was informed that while the folks specializing in facial massage had already left for the night, I could still be seen. I described my problem area - my neck, jaw and head and received a great massage. Problem was, after the massage everything was still so tight as now the pain had concentrated in my shoulders. I have a hard time speaking up in settings like this but was in so much pain that I asked the woman at the desk if I could get just a little more. She could see my distress and really took me in in that moment. She sat me down and gave me a quick extra few minutes of concentrated massage that soothed my panic and pain without charging me more, and encouraged me to make an appointment to come back the next day.

I did just that and had the sweetest reception and best massage ever. They unwound my tight knots and ensured I was walking out pain free. While the massages themselves were exceptional, more than that, the staff showed me such kindness and care in a moment of true desperation. They responded to my pain with the softness and attention I desperately needed in that moment and I can’t thank them enough. If you’ve made it this far in my review I hope that you’ll help me return the favor by being a patron. I can’t recommend them enough!

Absolutely one of the best massage experiences I’ve had in Chiang Mai. I did a 1.5-hour Thai foot massage with herbal balm for 500 THB, and it was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep during the session. The therapist was kind and attentive, and the pressure was just right.

After the massage, they served me warm tea and a little cookie—such a nice touch. What really moved me was that I asked about the herbal balm they used, and they kindly offered to give me one for free when the stock arrived the next day. Incredibly, they ended up finding a brand-new one and just gave it to me right away without charge. I was honestly so touched by their generosity and warmth.

The shop is clean, cozy, and just a 3-minute walk from Shangri-La Hotel (about 6–7 minutes from Astra). They also accept GLN (QR) payment, which was really convenient.

I finally understand why this place has so many Korean reviews—it really deserves the love. I’ll definitely be back!

I came in with completely swollen feet and legs! She was so sweet and non judgemental about how awful it looked and was so good that my feet looked almost normal afterward. She was amazing!! The prices were good and they were so kind! Highly recommend this place.

During my time living in Chiang Mai, I often came to this massage shop to relax and unwind. The owner, a warm and friendly woman, always greeted me with a smile and made me feel at ease. She was especially kind to regular customers—sometimes even offering me discounts, which I truly appreciated.

I tried several different therapists here, and all of them were very skilled and professional. Their techniques were consistently good, and I always left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Whether it was Thai massage or oil massage, the quality was reliable and comforting.

Kunlarat is so deserving of the high rating. My husband and I went for the two hour package of foot massage, aromatherapy and Thai massage and it was the most satisfying massage we had during our time in Thailand.

My massage therapist was fantastic, she intuitively worked out all of my knots and was so so good at her work. We both feel amazing after our time there.

It can be hard to pick somewhere for a massage as there are so many options. There’s a lovely relaxed atmosphere here and the staff are warm and friendly. Having tried a couple of different places in Chiang Mai, I don’t feel the need to try anywhere else as I genuinely can’t imagine having a more enjoyable massage elsewhere.

This is my go-to place for an excellent massage in Chiang Mai! I discovered Kunlarat more than 6 months ago, and I have been visiting regularly since then. Such a wonderful experience. I came here together with my friends, and we both are amazed by the skills and technique of the masseuse. We both tried oil massage and dare to say it was one of the best experience we had in chiang mai. The price is friendlier than in old town, but the quality is unbeatable. Everyone is welcoming and kind. I would love to be back again.

We tried several massage places near our hotel and this was by far the best. We tried Aiyaret and it was just average, even though it's got great reviews. Kunlarat was an instant success - went for the Thai full body 60 minutes and it was SO good. Shivers down the spine! The parlour is basic inside but clean and professional.

We went back three more times and had different massages including reflexology and they were all great. Masseuses called Beauty and Tintin were THE BEST and we asked for them specifically each time. Oh and there's a very nice cat that occasionally comes out of the back room to see what's going on 😻

I have been through many message shops in Chiangmai, Kunlarat is my favorite. The services are high quality and the prices are low. I always come to this shop when I am in changklan road. Sometimes I forgot to make a reservation, I have to wait for a little bit, but the good service worth the waiting.

Very professional and clean. Excellent services are offered by the staff. It can be hard to get deep tissue in Thailand but this place comes to the rescue. Their massage services can fill up fast because they are good (and everyone knows it!) so you may want to book in advance. Thank you for taking care of us and keep up the amazing work! I’d go as far as to say it’s the best massage shop in Chiang Mai.
What really sets them apart is their attention to detail.

They even offered to watch my child while I enjoyed my massage – talk about going above and beyond!

The thoughtful touches, like their banana service, show how much they care about their customers’ comfort.

The place is impeccably clean, and the value for money is outstanding.

The combination of excellent service and reasonable prices kept me coming back throughout my trip.

I visited this shop three times for a week.
The three persons-in-charge I got massage, have good skills. I have a frozen shoulder, and after their massage I can move my shoulder more smoothly than before.

I've lived in Chiang Mai for about over 1.5 years, I regret why I did not visit here sooner.
Although I have to leave Thailand soon, I am thinking of booking one more time.
It's a shop with people with such great skills.

PS: In fact, there is another thing I like this shop massage.
Why my face line looks younger after I only had my back, shoulders, neck and head massaged...😍

Wonderful massage studio! I did a chair massage and the space was extremely clean with brand new towels for the headrest and for the massage service. The masseuse did a wonderful leg and shoulder massage for me. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Perfect way to spend my last night in Chiang Mai!

Ich bin über zwei Monate in Chiang Mai und komme hier 1-2 x die Woche her. Sehr gute Massage, inkl. Wasser für -aus meiner Sicht- sehr guten Preis (dafür was man bekommt). Die Atmosphäre könnte noch etwas gemütlicher sein (z.B. mit Musik), aber für den Preis kann man sich nicht beschweren. Eher als Empfehlung 🙂

Top class service, nice people and a great variation of massages. Our family were really looked after.
Dont let the entrance/front make you think otherwise, its a fantastic massage. For me, I was looked after by Peter who was amazing. I told him to get stuck in with his elbow and he did. Most people don't when you ask them to do that but he was brilliant, knowing where on my body that was tight or in need of attention and spending time there.
And...they are really nice people!

I tried this massage shop two days ago and I found the staff ( Manager - Bee in black and the owner in green) all are very nice. As I am a very demanding person, I chatted with the Bee that I looked the best Masseur here. Bee introduced Dao (a young Thai girl in red as shown in the picture below) to me, and I have a 2-hour oil massage. Dao entertained all my requests, including the deep tissue massage for my right upper hand and shoulder. Her skills were very, very good. After having the oil massage for consecutive 2 days, I could feel my upper hand and shoulder were greatly improved. Although there is no pricey decoration, they have a warm atmosphere and good massage skills.

I visited because my legs were swollen and painful, and it was so refreshing. Tiny was very appreciative and told me the area to be tightened, and he adjusted the pressure very well, so I went to paradise. The atmosphere was quiet, the chair for the foot massage was very comfortable, and the room for the Thai massage was nice and pleasant. However, on my second visit, the masseuse was very bad. I was very disappointed because the pressure was soft and I was busy chatting with the person next to me. I think you need to choose your manager carefully. Find this person in the photo. You are so good.

I had an aromatic oil massage with coconut oil and it was a fantastic experience! The massage was incredibly relaxing. The scent of the coconut oil was pleasant and rounded off the experience perfectly. The masseuse was very professional and specifically paid attention to the tension. The atmosphere in the salon was also very calming and I felt completely comfortable. I can only recommend this salon and will definitely come back!

The massage was then adjusted accordingly.
Great experience and the best massage of the Thailand trip. There are huge differences.

This place is so good! Getting a massage here is one of the first things I do when I visit Chiang Mai, and I miss it when I’m away. The owner is so nice and the massage therapists are so skilled. I’m also impressed with how quickly they’ve repaired the flood damage, it’s like nothing happened. Although I’m sure the repairs and downtime will have cost them a lot of money, so please support this local gem. 5⭐️

I got a massage yesterday and today and it was really good.
Everyone is so friendly and the massage is the best.
On the first day, I fell on the street and got hurt, and everyone took great care of me while giving me a foot massage.
The Thai massage was also very refreshing. I feel like my whole body has been reassembled.
In particular, my shoulder blade on one side keeps shaking when I turn my arm, but they knew how and focused on that area, so now my shoulder moves smoothly.
I was going to go somewhere else, but I was satisfied so I came back here and will get it again next time. The best the best!👍👍👍

Best massage I have got in Thailand so far! Please support this shop as it is in the area of Chiang Mai that was affected by the flooding. There was quite a bit of damage and they lost wages during that time and had to repaint and rebuild a wall due to about 2-3ft of flooding in the shop. All the staff are friendly and excellent, I LOVED my masseuse (Jan) especially. Support local! You will not be disappointed.

It is close to Chiang Mai Shangri-La Resort. Reservations can be made online. (Just in case, I confirmed it again over the phone.)
All the staff were friendly and our family (2 adults, 2 children) received a comfortable stay. I remember that on the evening of the day we went, they had to close the store due to the flood forecast and told us about the flood.
The area where the massage shop was located was also submerged up to an adult's armpit due to flooding. I hope it recovers quickly.

Fantastic! They made us sit on the sofas and provided us with slippers and sealed welcome water. Massage performed on the second floor on raised beds with separate curtains. Competent, kind and helpful.

Koreans who come to Chiang Mai, don't worry about massage shops and come here!!! Zuhi, who is known for being picky, had it twice with my mom and I, and we were very satisfied both times💖
I'm really picky, so I don't go to most massage shops and write reviews because I'm satisfied. This is a place that is really serious about providing therapeutic massage with steamed ingredients.
The pressure on the hand is not a joke, and the massage is performed by accurately pointing to the acupuncture points.
Recommended even before boarding a plane!!

Tried the remedial Thai deep tissue massage. A mix of an oil massage with pressure points and a bit of traditional Thai, especially at the end. Was not sure if my body could handle a traditional Thai massage (it's been years since I had one) but the bit at the end was fine.

Tightness/tenderness on left neck shoulder area is gone, as of the day after massage. So mission accomplished.

My husband and I have been in Chiang Mai for one week and we have visited Kunlarat massage three times already (yes, it is THAT good). We have had two 1hr foot massages and both had a 1hr back/shoulder/neck massage. All were fabulous.

The staff are kind, professional and brilliant at releasing tension which, let's face it, is what we're all here for.

As a side note (incase there are any other wives/partners like me who need to hear this), my husbands back has given him years (and years) of agro. He has visited many, many osteopaths and chiropractors over our thirty years of marriage, but he's never been totally happy.
He was skeptical (and a bit scared ) at the thought of having a Thai back massage. He confessed to me that he was worried they'd 'do some damage'.

Thankfully, we went along three days ago and after a one hour back/neck and shoulder massage, the opposite was true. Hallelujah! He told me yesterday that his back has never felt better and the ongoing pain he's had in his hip has eased immensely.
It's a miracle. Thank you, Kunlarat, hopefully, you may've just gifted me the next thirty years of a pain free hubby!

PS: My husband and I host a weekly comedy podcast (It's a drama) where we discuss the ups and downs of living our best life in New Zealand and everything that involves. You will be getting a special shout-out Kunlarat Massage! You guys are amazing!

While I was staying in Chiang Mai, I received one massage a day and my tight trapezius muscles were greatly relieved. Everyone was friendly, and while I was getting a massage with my husband, they played happily with my child and took care of him.
I especially enjoyed the massages from BEE and LAA. He remembered the sore spots, and starting the next day, he started massaging them intensively without me having to tell him. I tried a variety of programs, including Thai massage and oil massage, and I was satisfied with all of them, so I recommend them.

Mongden masseuses such as BEE, LAY, and LALA are great at relieving your tense muscles!

I stayed here for a week and only visited this place~
The price was reasonable and the owner treated Koreans well, so I received good service and had a happy time!

When we parted, I was so sad that I shed a few tears.
The massage is of course Thai and the aroma is good, but this is the first time I've fallen asleep while receiving a Thai massage. It's amazing👍🏻

This is not a high-end massage shop well-equipped with mango sticky rice, herbal tea, and massage clothes. However, the satisfaction level of the massage is as high as that of other high-end massage shops. I have been there twice so far and plan to visit more in the future.

I lived nearby and went there really often. It was friendly, the facilities were clean, and it seemed like there was even a 3rd floor.
When someone who had only used it once did it, it was painful and uncomfortable because my nails were long.
Other than that, everything was really good. I've gotten them from several places over the course of my month-long stay, and they're the best because they're cheap and provide cool water. There are over 200 reviews and there is a reason it is rated 5 stars. Be sure to visit~~

This is a massage restaurant. The moment I started the foot massage, I felt like this was a delicious restaurant. When I massage elsewhere, my body feels more swollen after the massage, but after doing it here, I felt the swelling go down. Amazing massage place! When we first arrived in Chiang Mai we walked past and they offered us discount for the next day. We were too busy to go the following day so came back a couple of days later. They still remembered us and gave us discount which was lovely. We had an hour facial and an hour foot massage and I couldn’t fault either of them, it was amazing and so relaxing! They then gave us a free gift before we left which was lovely. Really personable staff and amazing treatments! Will definitely come again before we leave Chiang Mai!

What a shame to have left the massage for the last day. From all their offerings I chose a 1 and a half hour traditional Thai massage and it was neither long nor short. Just the perfect length. This place is WONDERFUL
We walked up and a local waiting for her massage told us how great it was. There were three of us in our group so they offered us a time 1 hour later.
I received the oil massage and it was so soothing, relaxing, and I felt really cared for by my masseuse. Our group enjoyed each of our services so much, that we booked another session for two days later.
I’m writing this while currently getting a foot massage, and it really is so thorough and feels so good.

Fantastic massage, professional, friendly, and effective! Booking was easy though we didn't really need to book in advance. Purchased a 2 hour combination foot, thai, and oil massage for just 550 baht. Came with some tea and some small locally made pouches at the end. Definitely would recommend.

I found it while walking around and decided to get it. It was so good that I came here every day while I was staying nearby. There is a 2-hour foot + Thai + aroma package, but I think it would be better to get it as a package instead of getting it separately. I got a Thai massage here for the first time and it was great.

The facilities are not bad either.
The boss is friendly. The massage therapists have good skills, perhaps because they are older.
The 2-hour 550 baht package is more cost-effective than the 1-hour package. I'm going again today

The staff are really friendly.
Personally, one hour is a bit short for a body massage, so I felt like the massage was cut short. The masseuse seemed to be in a hurry as he was covering all parts in one hour.
In my experience, 2 hours of body massage was too long and I was exhausted, so 90 minutes was the best.
Next time, if you don't have enough time, it would be better to split the massage into parts, one hour for the feet and one hour for the shoulders.
The area where you can get a body massage is partitioned off with a curtain, like a hospital shared room.

Excellent massage. The masseuse took extra time with problem spots I have. She applied correct pressure as needed to help loosen some very tight muscles. I would highly recommend going here for a massage. The 2 hour combination oil and Thai massage was perfect for me.

My wife and I came and did 2 hour oil massages. Best massage ever. They feel for the tight spots and work them out. When you tell them soft they lighten up. Ended up doing 2 hr every day for 4 days. Some firm some soft. Super friendly and professional. We felt like family by the time we left. We’ll come back just to see them again.

We had a much needed massage here today. We both did 1 hour; 30 minutes of foot massage and 30 minutes of back massage, the price was 200 baht per person. The two ladies (NORI and LA) that did our massage were very friendly and professional. We love when we can have our massages at the same time!
We had a wonderful time and feel very relaxed! Thank you!
