CHINESE REMEDIAL MASSAGES
We offer some therapeutic procedures of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) that may be defined as instrument-assisted stimulation of the body surface to disperse stagnant blood and energy. They are associated with extravasation in the subcutis, which doesn’t represent damage to blood vessels but creates temporary skin marks.
These massage techniques are utilized in TCM to prevent and treat a range of conditions caused by blood stasis and usually characterized by fixed or recurrent pain. Remember, however, that if you experience chronic pain, it is advisable to consult a doctor before getting any massage!

Bá Guàn Massage (Cupping)
Cupping therapy is a painless and even pleasant form of deep-tissue massage that utilizes a vacuum to pull the skin and underlying tissue upward. In the first 15 minutes, fired vacuum cups placed on your back to create suction will be lightly slid across an area. Once they are removed, a 45-minute gentle full-body massage will be performed using massage oil to soothe and moisturize the skin.
Sucking cups relieve chronic muscle tightness and pain more efficiently than massage therapy alone, so this procedure is quite popular with sportspeople. Bá Guàn massage doesn’t involve any cutting, bloodletting, or incisions – nevertheless, it leaves red circular marks that will last from a few hours to several days. The intensity of the marks may vary depending on individual skin sensitivity and the amount of stagnation in the tissues.

Gua Sha Massage (Body scrapping)
This healing modality is considered more invasive than Cupping as it involves scraping oil-lubricated skin with a flat, smooth-edged tool until multiple red stripes and dots appear. In reality, the treatment is not as painful as it looks, and the red marks are not signs of injury or damage but the key indicator of forced circulation of vital energy, blood, and lymph in the stagnant areas.
Body scraping therapy is mainly indicated for musculoskeletal problems, specifically muscle and joint stiffness and scar tissue. It is generally regarded as effective in treating acute or chronic pain conditions like fibromyalgia. Our Gua Sha massage session consists of a 30-minute scraping procedure preceded by a 30-minute warming tissue massage.

In Kunlarat Massage, these types of massage are usually performed on the 3rd floor, in an air-conditioned room with 4 massage tables separated by thick curtains.
You will wear very little clothing or get naked with a towel covering all parts of the body not being treated.
DEAR CLIENTS,
I’ve placed this notice on every floor because each masseuse has their own unique style and technique. Sometimes, this may not match a client’s expectations—especially if they are unfamiliar with massage and unsure how to express their preferences. While some clients find their ideal therapist right away and stick with them, others may leave feeling disappointed.
If you’re ever unsatisfied with your massage, please don’t hesitate to call me! Requesting a different masseuse is completely normal, and I’m here to help you find the right match.
